I am getting a usage limit error

We have seen 2 different resolutions to this:

1) The error you are seeing is usually related to not setting up payment information in OpenAI.

You can visit https://platform.openai.com/account/billing/limits and see if you currently have any approved usage. 

If you do not have any approved usage you will need to set up your billing information. After adding your billing information is when they usually apply free credits, so if you don't see free credits, and have added your billing information, please contact OpenAI support.

2) If billing is already set up, please add a new API key to your OpenAI account. In GPTDash, remove the old key and then add the new key.
